PROPAGATION & NURSERY ACTIVITIES

The IRF actively develops in vivo propagation protocols, with a particular focus on foliage species.

The activity involves the development of protocols to meet the specific requests of companies with which the IRF has signed collaboration agreements. On an agreed basis, the IRF subsequently provides a multiplication service that produces seedlings ready for planting in the field.

Companies are also offered young plants of listed varieties and species.

Over the last three years, multiplication protocols for 20 genotypes have been developed, leading to the supply of a total of 23,000 young plants.
